Fin Date

A date is a fact. The story pinned to it is not.

Most dates are duller and more useful

A desk that only celebrates the famous day will miss the Tuesday when a large lockup ends. Calendars earn their keep on Tuesdays.

This sample issue includes the idea of those Tuesdays without pretending today's page is a live calendar.

Fin Date files this as a sample, not a recommendation. The desk can describe a mechanism, a speaker, and what is still unchecked. It cannot tell a reader what to do with money.

If you keep one line, keep the boundary: Unlocks, expiries, and hearings move real constraints.

Density here is a second source, a time, and a sentence about what is still unknown. A louder adjective does not make the note more complete.

  • Who is speaking. Fin Date names them.
  • A number with one source stays out of the headline.
  • This sample describes a mechanism. It does not tell you to buy or sell.
  • A correction, if it comes, stays on this page instead of disappearing.
