1. It is very risky for Ethereum to fall below 3000, with an uncertain overall market situation. Let’s wait till the end of June.
I always believe that short-term price fluctuations are difficult to judge and insignificant. Looking at the long term, I feel very safe with Ethereum below $3000. If it can drop further to below $2500, that would be even better, and I would consider investing more at that point.
2. How do you view the POLYX coin in the RWA sector?
I have never bought this coin and am not familiar with the project. Overall, my view on the RWA sector remains unchanged: this sector belongs to centralized institutional investors, with retail investors at best just taking a sip. Therefore, I only occasionally pay attention to news in this sector and do not follow specific projects closely.
The once renowned DeFi project, MakerDAO, is currently trying to expand in this sector, but from its actions, I do not see much advantage for retail investors, or where they could profit significantly in any particular niche.
3. Are there any airdrops for staking with third parties?
I have participated in several well-known staking projects such as EigenLayer, Ether.Fi, Swell, Renzo, but my positions are not significant.
4. I heard that the US, UK, and Australia are planning to freeze Chinese assets. Is there any danger to our coins on exchanges?
I recommend taking your assets out of exchanges and putting them in your own wallet permanently, rather than worrying about government policies towards exchanges, exchange security, exchange exit scams, or rumors about various issues.
Some readers find it cumbersome to manage their assets in their wallets and even fear losing them, so it might be better to keep assets in reputable exchanges.
I believe that the essence and genetics of crypto assets are about taking responsibility for one’s own affairs. “Freedom,” “equality,” “privacy,” and “wealth” are one’s own business and one’s own responsibility. In the crypto world, only investors who truly understand this idea and put it into practice can ultimately reap their true wealth.
Mountains may fall, people may run, only oneself is the most reliable.
5. Is it possible for all altcoins to return to Bitcoin and only recognize the big one?
I think this possibility is very small.
Blockchain technology is ultimately heading towards mass-scale, widespread application. Although this application has not yet exploded, the day will come.
Bitcoin cannot support this application because its technical limitations prevent it from achieving Turing completeness like Ethereum, and it has a ceiling on application support.
Therefore, I currently believe that Ethereum is still the one that can support this scenario. Ethereum will not disappear, let alone decline.
6. Is it still necessary to hold onto ETHS?
I used to have this coin, but later sold it, leaving only a small amount to provide liquidity on Facet Swap. During the recent downturn, I only bought ORDI and did not buy any other coins.
7. Is the current Ethereum dollar-cost averaging still below $2500? Do you continue to have a positive outlook on its future development?
Yes, the dollar-cost averaging I set for myself remains unchanged. If Ethereum truly falls below $2500, I will resume dollar-cost averaging. I still have a positive long-term outlook on Ethereum. However, frankly speaking, the development of the Ethereum ecosystem in this cycle has been somewhat disappointing: there have been no phenomenal new applications or scenarios.
But I believe this is only temporary.
8. UTXOSWAP has emerged in the CKB ecosystem, a intent-based exchange. What do you think?
This application is not particularly innovative; it only fills the gaps in the DeFi sector of the ecosystem. While it is important to consider such applications within a specific ecosystem, in the broader crypto ecosystem, it is quite ordinary.
I am currently more interested in applications and scenarios that are original and have never been seen before.
9. Many altcoins are approaching their bear market lows. How do you view the market?
For altcoins with deep price declines, if you really like them and want to buy them, it doesn’t matter how you buy them. However, from a risk-reward perspective, I would be very cautious and avoid most altcoins.
Since both Bitcoin and Ethereum have surpassed their dollar-cost averaging prices, for a long time, apart from very few varieties, I have basically stopped buying coins and mostly observe or participate in airdrops and other activities.
