According to the latest estimation by Forbes, his fortune has reached $61 billion, making him the 24th richest person in the world, just behind Julia Koch and her family. The second wealthiest individual in the cryptocurrency field is Brian Armstrong, the founder of Coinbase, with a fortune of $11 billion.
The significant increase in CZ’s net worth comes from Forbes’ discovery that he personally holds Binance’s issued token, BNB. It is estimated that he owns 94 million of these tokens, representing 64% of the circulating supply of 147.5 million BNB tokens. Forbes estimates that Binance currently owns 71% of the BNB supply.
