On July 26, it was reported that a snapshot indicated that Arbitrum had initiated a proposal to open up the permissions for deploying the Orbit chain outside of Ethereum, such as on the Bitcoin network and Cosmos. In return, the newly established Orbit chain is required to return 10% of its on-chain profits to the Arbitrum ecosystem, with 8% allocated to ArbitrumDAO and 2% to the Developer Association. It is understood that the “Arbitrum Expansion Plan” is a set of tools and services maintained and provided by the Arbitrum Foundation, aimed at enabling developers to deploy and operate a trust-minimized network that relies on the security of the Ethereum blockchain.
